The NEUREKA project was present at the last EMBO DENDRITES 2024 Workshop in Chania on 21-24, May, 2024!
In this workshop, NEUREKA partners, PhD candidate Michalis Pagkalos and PostDoc researcher Spyros Chavlis from Poirazi Lab at F.O.R.T.H. presented their work, acknowledging NEUREKA.
NEUREKA Consortium convened in the city of Heraklion, Crete, for a productive two-day meeting on May 27th and 28th, 2024. There were collaborative discussions, presentations, and brainstorming sessions, emphasizing the NEUREKA project’s significance and scientific outcomes, leading to the final review meeting.
Beyond all the WP presentations, a highlight of the meeting was a visit to the Poirazi Lab in IMBB, FORTH. Here, the consortium members had the chance of discussing with the lab experimentalists.
Going beyond the realm of science, the consortium enjoyed a fascinating guided tour of Knossos, the historic Minoan palace complex.
The successful meeting in Crete has boosted our teamwork and our confidence for future breakthroughs.
